Getting Back to it...Land of Milk and Honey

So if I don't start now, when will I ever start? Here we're living in Ireland, full and rich life and there's so much to share. My last update from kiakahafamily.blogspot was back in March of 2008, then nothing...life got busy settling in, me, with huge aspirations for maintaining a blog but for the reality of life. Oh, and of course this needs to be just right. Okay, I'm past that now, it doesn't. Now, in addition to our family blog, I'm creating my own personal blog and we'll see what happens.

A friend of mine, when our second child, Sasha was born, referred to that time as the Land of Milk and Honey. I've gone back to that idea more than once, usually as it refers to life with newborn. Currently, I apply that to Now. This is a beautiful time...here in Ireland, having been here one year; November being the month we moved into the house, we're feeling settled and finding our place. The kids are hooked up with their sports, music and school...friendships are being built. Nothing is ever perfect, nor should it be, so we're just enjoying life as it comes, and...as we attempt to make it.

Here is a bit of the beauty:

Hi Rachel, so good to hear from you! Thanks, working on it. How is life with baby(s) these days? It's amazing how big they keep getting? I'm so in admiration that you did it again!...but now your little guy has a friend to grow up with too! I do think about that. We're great, and will keep updating thanks! Mentally, I'm building posts...it's just the actually doing it that gets me. Will get there! Hello to Martin et famille! xo Natasha

Life is really good. Busy, but good. They do keep getting big and it drives me crazy how QUICKLY this happens. I'm just trying to enjoy it as much as possible and not hurry it along. How are your babes?
I, too, am mentally building posts... but am in a blogging rut lately. No worries. It'll come.
Keep taking care!
And yes, I will tell Martin hello.
Hugs!
